SKAGIT RIVER FLOOD WATCH

Concrete, WA

The Skagit River has reached the 28' flood stage at Concrete, as posted by the USGS. The Skagit River is expected to crest at 33.3' in Concrete at about 10 am on Wednesday. A crest of 32.1' is expected in Mount Vernon at 4 am Thursday morning.

The American Red Cross is setting up an emergency shelter in the Concrete Senior Center. The American Red Cross has already set up an emergency shelter in the Hamilton Baptist Church on Hwy. 20. The shelters are intended for people that need to evacuateto escape the current flooding.
