November 13, 2020 Test Site Closed Friday, November 13, due to weather and safety concerns Today, Skagit County Unified Command closed the test site due to weather and safety concerns. Those currently in line at the site will be tested, but no new cars are being accepted.
Previously, high winds at the test site have lifted tents and damaged equipment. Mechanisms put in place to keep the tents down do not seem to be secure at this time. Out of an abundance of caution, the test is being closed to protect staff and residents.

The test site is expected to reopen on November 16, 2020 with normal operating hours. Unified Command are looking into more sustainable and safe locations to operate the test site out of through the winter.
