Skagit County Parks & Recreation Advisory Board recognizes Dotti Moe
and Chuck Mell with Outstanding Volunteer Achievement Awards
SKAGIT COUNTY - The Skagit County Parks & Recreation Advisory Board is recognizing two outstanding individuals for their volunteer achievements in the service of Skagit County Parks & Recreation.
On the Recreation side, the first lady of Skagit Valley softball, Dottie Moe, will be honored. Dottie is currently the Secretary/Treasurer for the Skagit Valley Softball Association, and a friend to any and all who have played softball in the valley over the last several decades.
On the Parks side, Skagit Parks Foundation President Chuck Mell is being honored. Chucks work with the Foundation, especially the website he maintains solely out of his joy for parks, is tireless and very helpful.
One of the great privileges of my work here is getting to know wonderful folks like Dottie and Chuck, County Parks & Rec Director Bob Vaux said. Parks & Recreation does not exist without the citizen dedication of these two, and so many others.
Please join the Skagit County Parks & Recreation Advisory Board on Thursday, November 20, 7:30 P.M., at the Farmhouse Restaurant for a brief ceremony and reception honoring these two outstanding individuals.
Contact Bob Vaux, 360.336.9414, with any questions.
