New Skyline ballot drop box available to Anacortes residents

Voters on the west side of Fidalgo Island now have another convenient ballot drop box to deposit their voted ballots.  In addition to the Anacortes Library location at 1220 10th Street, a new box has been installed at the Skyline Beach Club at 6041 Sands Way, Anacortes. 

“Due to the high participation of voters on Fidalgo Island, placing another ballot box on the west side just made sense,” said Auditor Jeanne Youngquist. “The community of Skyline and surrounding residents will benefit from the location and ease of drive-up accessibility.”

Ballots were sent to registered voters the week of Oct. 17 and may be mailed back at any United States Post Office or deposited postage-free at one of the nine Skagit County drop box locations listed on the Skagit County Elections website.
