COUNTY TO PARTICIPATE IN FLOODPLAIN MANAGERS CONFERENCE

SKAGIT COUNTY – The Northwest Regional Floodplain Managers Association (NORMFA) is holding their fall conference on September 20-23, 2004 at the Skagit Valley Casino Resort in Bow. Skagit County Public Works Surface Water Management staff will be in attendance. A variety of topics including mapping, technical issues, planning, Community Rating System, flood warning, EC training and response will be discussed.

Conference registration which includes a membership in NORMFA, is $275. A field trip (limited to bus capacity) is $25, and Student Conference Registration (must be full-time student) is $40.
