SKAGIT COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE AND PUBLIC OUTREACH STEERING COMMITTEE TO MEET SEPTEMBER 30

SKAGIT COUNTY – The first meeting of the Skagit County Comprehensive Plan Update and Public Outreach Steering Committee will meet on Thursday, September 30, 2004, at 6:00 p.m. in Hearing Rooms B and C at the Skagit County Administration Building at 700 South Second Street in Mount Vernon.

The 15-person committee was appointed by the Skagit County Board of Commissioners to represent and engage all voices and interests, and to assist in updating the Comprehensive Plan. The Committee will advise the County planners and decision makers in evaluating proposed amendments and in drafting changes to the goals and policies that will direct growth in Skagit County for the next 20 years.

The meeting is open to the public.
