THEME FOR 2006 SKAGIT COUNTY FAIR ANNOUNCED
At a special public meeting
on September 6th the theme for the 2006 Skagit County Fair was selected. “Magic’s
in the Air At the Fair” The magic begins when you stop and think about
a fair in the past that you attended. Perhaps there was a special person involved,
a yummy smell, a farm smell, the sounds of music and animals or walking around
the corner and seeing a friend that you haven’t seen for a while. All of
this is possible at the 2006 Skagit County Fair.
It will be magical as you take a lunch hour or an afternoon and roam the fairgrounds.
Stop by the Skagit County Fair office after the first of January for a complete
line-up of entertainment. Personalize the 2006 fair by entering something. Your
favorite bread recipe or that special rose out of your garden. Magic will happen
as you take in the fair. The dates for the 2006 Skagit County Fair are August
9th – August 12th.
