Welcome to Skagit County

Skagit County - We are pleased to announce the completion of the roundabout project in Conway. The project has improved traffic flow at the intersection by providing a five-legged roundabout encompassing the Pioneer Highway and Fir Island Road intersection, as well as the Conway Frontage Road and Main Street intersection at Fir Island Road. This project includes curbs and gutters, sidewalks, crosswalk, stormwater facilities, waterline, and landscaping.

This roundabout will serve our community for many years to come, and will play an important role in traffic safety for our citizens.

The construction was made possible with funding from the 2013 Quick Response Safety Program Grant through the Federal Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP).
