Air quality in much of Skagit County is hovering between moderate to unhealthy due to nearby wildfires. People with asthma, respiratory infection, diabetes, lung or heart disease should limit time spent outdoors. If air quality continues to deteriorate, sensitive groups including infants, children, adults older than 65, pregnant women, or people who have had a stroke should also limit their time outdoors.
