NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing in the Commissioners' Hearing Room, 1800 Continental Place, Mount Vernon, WA, on Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, for the purpose of considering the modification of the M/V Guemes Island Ferry rates.

This proposal may be approved, modified and approved, or rejected by the Board of Skagit County Commissioners. Your views for or against the rate increase for the M/V Guemes Island Ferry are invited by attendance, representation or letter.

For citizens with special needs, the Commissioners' Hearing Room (or Public Hearing Room) is accessible. Persons with special needs or disabilities are asked to call the Commissioners' Office at 336-9300 at least 96 hours before the hearing to discuss and arrange for any needed accommodations.
