SKAGIT COUNTY SEEKS CITIZENS ADVISORY MEMBERS FOR FOREST-NATURAL RESOURCE LANDS COMMITTEE

Skagit County is seeking the assistance of a Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) to review, comment on, and suggest alternatives to proposed Forest-Natural Resource Lands designation criteria, the resulting mapped areas, and any policy or regulatory changes needed to ensure conservation of forest lands of long-term commercial significance as required by the Growth Management Act.

Skagit County seeks and welcomes a diversity of opinions and interests in this matter. Citizens with knowledge or experience in comprehensive planning, growth management, natural resource management or related areas are encouraged to submit a letter of interest along with a statement of qualifications by Friday, July 11th, 2003, to:
