"I am extremely proud of my staff. This a huge undertaking and it speaks to the professionalism of our people in the auditor's office," said Brummett. Skagit County was recognized for its comprehensive annual financial report. Chief Accountant Daniel Weinberg received the Award of Financial Reporting Achievement as being the individual being primarily responsible for the report. "Danny Weinberg is a real asset to this office and represents the County's best interests at all times," said Brummett. Since 1988, Skagit County has received the award several times and will be applying for the 2001 award this month.
