Guemes Island Ferry Operations Public Forum Meeting April 12, 2016
6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Guemes Island Community Center
SKAGIT COUNTY – On Tuesday, April 12, 2016, Skagit County will hold its first public forum for 2016 to discuss operational needs and other issues relative to the Guemes Island Ferry operation. The community is encouraged to attend, learn about, and discuss agenda items, including:
- All-Electric Ferry/Ferry Replacement Update
- Draft 2016 Ferry Fare Revenue Target Report
- Questions and Comments Related to Ferry Operations
The Draft 2016 Ferry Fare Revenue Target Report will be available for review beginning Monday, April 4, 2016, at www.skagitcounty.net/ferry, and at www.linetime.org. Please visit either of these websites if you wish to download and review the report prior to attending the public forum.
The meeting will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Guemes Island Community Center located at 7549 Guemes Island Road.
In attendance will be: Skagit County Commissioner Lisa Janicki, District 3, Chair; Skagit County Commissioner Ron Wesen, District 1; Skagit County Commissioner Ken Dahlstedt, District 2; Public Works Director Dan Berentson; County Engineer Paul Randall-Grutter; Public Works Controller Jim Mickel; and Ferry Operations Division Manager Rachel Rowe.
