Guemes Island Ferry Operations Public Forum Meeting March 26, 2014
6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Guemes Island Community Hall

On Wednesday, March 26, 2014, Skagit County will hold its first public forum for 2014 to discuss operational needs and other issues relative to the Guemes Island Ferry operation. The community is encouraged to attend, learn about, and discuss agenda items, including:

The Draft 2014 Ferry Fare Revenue Target Report will be available for review beginning Monday, March 17, 2014, at www.skagitcounty.net/ferry, and at www.linetime.org.

The Ferry Replacement Plan is available online now for public review. Please visit either of these websites if you wish to download and review the reports prior to attending the public forum.

The meeting will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Guemes Island Community Center located at 7549 Guemes Island Road.

In attendance will be: Skagit County Commissioner Ron Wesen, District 1, Chair; Interim Public Works Director Dan Berentson; County Engineer, Paul Randall-Grutter; Public Works Controller, Jim Mickel; Ferry Operations Division Manager Rachel Rowe; and Public Works Accounting Tech, Jim Martin.
