Flood watch issued, crest expected at around 29 feet
National Weather Service has issued a flood watch through Wednesday, March 2, for Skagit County. The Northwest River Forecast Center predicts around a 29’ crest in Concrete at roughly 10 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, March 1) morning. You can read the statement from National Weather Service in full here.
For updated river forecasts please visit www.skagitcounty.net/flood or call the River Level Hotline at 360-416-1404.
Residents in Hamilton, Lyman, Concrete and other flood-prone areas should prepare to take action over the next 24 hours to protect their homes and families from floodwaters. If you have questions or are in need of sandbags and aren't sure where to go, please contact Skagit County Department of Emergency Management at 360-416-1850.
Skagitonians throughout the County should also expect water over low-lying roadways, particularly Swan Road, Francis Road, Sterling Road, Cabin Creek Road, Whitmarsh Road (in Burlington), Martin Road (Rockport) and potentially Cape Horn. Practice “Turn Around-Don’t Drown” and do not drive through water over the roadway. It can be deeper and faster moving than anticipated and presents a risk to drivers.

Stay safe & dry!
