DEDICATION CEREMONY SLATED FOR TED W. ANDERSON EAST COUNTY COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER

SKAGIT COUNTY – The public is invited to a dedication ceremony honoring former Skagit County Commissioner Ted W. Anderson on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at 45770 Main Street, Concrete. Last December, Skagit County Commissioners Don Munks and Ken Dahlstedt signed a resolution renaming the East County Community Resource Center, the “Ted W. Anderson East County Community Resource Center.”

“Just a gold gavel isn’t enough,” said Munks before reading the resolution officially renaming the facility.

Anderson played a leadership role in a collaborative effort that resulted in the completion of the 4,400 square foot facility that houses Skagit County Upriver Services, Skagit County Community Action Agency East Count Office, Upper Skagit Library District, and meeting rooms for public events.

Refreshments will be provided. Parking is available at the Senior Center Parking Area. For more information contact Skagit County Upriver Services at 360-853-7009.
