TEMPORARY PARKING LOT TO OPEN AT GUEMES FERRY IN ANACORTES

SKAGIT COUNTY – The Skagit County Public Works Department will temporarily open the new parking lot at the Guemes Island Ferry terminal located at 6th and J in Anacortes on January 17, 2005. Due to weather conditions, the lot will be paved this spring.

“This will be helpful to our customers as well as neighbors by reducing the on street parking”, said Ferry Manager Steve Cox.
