Skagit County Commissioners seek District 2 representative for Agricultural Advisory Board

SKAGIT COUNTY - The Skagit County Board of Commissioners is seeking a representative from District 2 to serve on the Agricultural Advisory Board (AAB). This is a three-year term with the possibility for renewals; appointment would start immediately.
The AAB meets and discusses current agriculture-related issues with specific interests in drainage, flooding, land use, economics, and the Critical Areas Ordinance. The Board's role is to inform and make recommendations to the County Commissioners on these and other topics that affect agriculture in Skagit County.

The AAB meets monthly on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. during the summer and 6:00 p.m. during the winter for approximately two hours.
