Skagit County Adopts 2010 Climate Action Plan

On March 16, 2010, after more than a year of work by the county's citizen Climate Action and Sustainability Taskforce, the Board of County Commissioners adopted the proposed 2010 Climate Action Plan. The Commissioners expressed profound appreciation to the Taskforce for its work, and excitement that the county will soon be moving forward with implementing its policies and initiatives, which in aggregate are expected to save the county nearly $150,000 per year.
