SKAGIT RIVER IS UNDER FLOOD WARNING

SKAGIT COUNTY - The Flood Warning continues for the Skagit River. The Skagit River has crested at 30 feet. The Samish River appears to be cresting at 10.9 feet. The Skagit is predicted to crest in Mount Vernon at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow at 31.5 feet. Flood Stage on the Skagit River is 28 feet at Concrete and Mount Vernon.

Samish River near Old Highway 99: 10.9 feet
Currently there is water over roadways at Minkler, Sam Bell, Cabin Creek, Cascade
River, Francis, Fruitdale and Swan roads.
We advise the public to avoid driving through standing water on roadways, and
obey any "closed roads" signs.
Skagit County will closely monitor the water levels in both rivers.
