Notice of Call for Bids: Skagit County – Electrical Services Contract - 1/20/26

Contractor shall provide the electrical services for the Skagit County Facilities Management Department. Which includes troubleshooting, checking, and repairing all lighting and outlets; repair and replacement of electrical components, which include but may not be limited to power resources, lighting switches and relays, drainage pumps, electrical motors, generators, outdoor/building lights, and electrical infrastructure in general and other electrical power services 120-, 240- and 480-volt systems, including 3-phase. It is anticipated that 90% or more of the work will be performed during the Contractor’s normal Business hours; however, emergent response time is required within twenty-four (24) hours or with reason. Contractor shall not start work until a schedule has been provided to County Facilities Management and official notice to proceed has been issued. This includes all Facilities Management Department managed buildings or assigned by the Department Facilities Director.

The attached Bid Proposal Form and Certification of Wage Compliance must be received by 3:00 PM on Tuesday - February 03, 2026. County preference is to receive via email with scanned documents attached to epeterson@co.skagit.wa.us, although bids can also be delivered to the receptionist at 1800 Continental Place, Mount Vernon, WA. or mailed to Skagit County Facilities Management, 1730 Continental Place, Mount Vernon, WA 98273. No late proposals will be accepted, and the results will be shared with all vendors that submit a proposal.
