Inman Landfill Leachate Pond Inspection and Repair Project
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Skagit County is interested in obtaining the services of a contractor for cleaning, inspecting, and repairing the upper liner of the leachate pond at Inman Landfill.
BID DUE DATE AND TIME: Tuesda, July 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE: $100,000 - $120,000
NOTICE TO PROCEED: Contractor shall not commence work until notice to proceed has been given by Skagit County; this occurs after the Contract has been executed by Skagit County Board of Commissioners.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS: All technical questions and requests for interpretation shall be in writing and submitted by email with the subject line reading, “Inman Landfill,” no later than 4:00 p.m. PST on Friday, June 20, 2025 to Russell Thompson, Hydrogeologist, russellt@co.skagit.wa.us. Questions will not be accepted after 4:00 p.m. PST on Friday, June 20, 2025.
ADDENDA: If Skagit County issues addenda to this project, bidders must acknowledge receipt of all addenda on the revised bid proposal. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to ensure that the bidder has received all addenda, although Skagit County will make reasonable effort to provide addenda to all plan holders. Addenda will be forwarded to Contractors on the Plan Holder list via email, and will be posted online at www.skagitcounty.net/rfp. Failure to sign the acknowledgement of addenda on the revised proposal packet may result in rejection of the bid.
All addenda, if needed, will be posted online for this work by 4:00 p.m. PST on Friday, June 27, 2025. All addenda shall become part of the bid package. If further addenda are required to be issued, after Friday, June 27, 2025, the bid opening may be postponed. Contractors on the plan holder list will be notified of postponement via phone and email. A postponement notice will also be posted online at www.skagitcounty.net/rfp.
