Nookachamps Creek Riparian Restoration

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This service consists of the creation of a restoration plan to include initial plan and recommended
maintenance and installation of approximately seventeen (17) acres of native riparian plant
species near Mount Vernon, WA. All planting shall be completed by Monday, March 31, 2025. All
work shall be completed by Friday, May 30, 2025.
The venue of all causes of action arising from the advertisement, award, execution, and
performance of the contract shall be in the Superior Court of the Contracting Agency where the
Contracting Agency’s headquarters are located.
The following provisions are made a part of this contract and supersede any conflicting provisions
of the Washington State Department of Transportation 2024 Standard Specifications for Road,
Bridge and Municipal Construction (Standard Specifications) and the foregoing Amendments to
the Standard Specifications.

Restoration”.

INTERPRETATION OF BID AND PURCHASE DOCUMENTS
Any prospective Bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the Bid Documents, shall
request the explanation or interpretation in writing by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024 to
allow a written reply to reach all prospective Bidders before the submission of their Bids. Oral
explanations, interpretations, or instructions given by anyone before the Award of a Contract will
not be binding on the Contracting Agency.
Any information given a prospective Bidder concerning any of the Bid Documents will be furnished
to all prospective Bidders as an Addendum if that information is deemed by the Contracting
Agency to be necessary in submitting Bids or if the Contracting Agency concludes that the lack
of the information would be prejudicial to other prospective Bidders.
