        with developmental disabilities and their families are valued citizens 
        of Skagit County. The Developmental Disabilities program strives to promote 
        individual worth, self-respect, and dignity such that each individual 
        is valued as a contributing member of the community.
      Behavioral Health
        Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders 
        The Behavioral Health Program represents Skagit County's interests in  mental health and substance use services to assure that a full continuum of  treatment and recovery services are available to eligible consumers.
      Meals 
        on Wheels
        The Meals 
        on Wheels Program provides nutritious, noontime meals to senior citizens, 
        age 60 and older, who have difficulty leaving their home unassisted and 
        who are unable to prepare their own meals.
      Senior 
        Centers
      Senior Centers are located in Anacortes, Burlington,  Concrete, Mount Vernon and Sedro Woolley and are sponsored by Skagit County and  its towns and cities.  Each center offers noontime meals and programs for  older adults.  Monthly calendars and newsletters are available online.

        Nutrition Program
        Skagit Countys 
        Senior Nutrition Program provides nutritious, noontime meals to seniors 
        through a variety of services. Each meal distributed by the program is 
        designed to provide one-third of the Recommended Daily Dietary Allowances 
        for people over 60 years of age.
