Skagit County Administrator announces retirement

County Administrator Tim Holloran recently announced his plan to retire from Skagit County in June of 2019. Holloran has worked for Skagit County in various positions for the past 39 years. He’s spent the past 10 years serving as County Administrator, and the previous two as Deputy County Administrator. As the County Administrator, he has been responsible for executing the policy direction of the Board of Commissioners through internal and external County operations.

Skagit County is working with executive consulting firm CPS HR on a nationwide campaign to recruit qualified applicants for the County Administrator position. Interested applicants can find more information about the position – and life in Skagit County – on the CPS HR website. CPS HR will conduct the initial testing and interview process before recommending top candidates for Commissioner interviews. The County hopes to introduce a new County Administrator in late Spring 2019.
