No Extra Trips at 6:00 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m., or 11:00 p.m.

Effective January 1st, 2009, Resolution #R20080556 established hours of operation for the Guemes Island Ferry. Attachment A of that resolution determined the hours of operation to be as follows:

Monday - Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Friday - Saturday 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Attachment A of the above mentioned resolution also states that "Other than for exigent circumstances, no ferry departures shall occur earlier or later than the times listed above; specifically, no "double runs" or "clean-up" runs shall occur outside the Sailing Schedule listed above."

For clarification purposes, there shall be no extra trips at 8:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m., or 11:00 p.m.

When a holiday (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving or Christmas) falls on a Sunday through Thursday,
Ferry service will be provided on the Saturday schedule, stopping at 10 p.m.

Ferry departs at Guemes approximately 8 minutes later than the above schedule.
Crossing time approximately five (5) minutes.
