Davis Slough Bridge Project Meeting April 23

Skagit County and the Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group will be holding an informational Public Meeting on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 regarding the upcoming Davis Slough Bridge Project that will take place this summer near milepost 14 on South Skagit Highway.

Skagit County – On Wednesday, April 23, 2014, Skagit County and the Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group will host a meeting to discuss the Davis Slough Bridge Project (South Skagit Highway near milepost 14) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Day Creek Fire Hall located at 31693 South Skagit Highway.

This upcoming project consists of the replacement of an undersized culvert with a 60’ bridge to improve fish passage under South Skagit Highway from Davis Slough to the Skagit River.

The meeting agenda will include information regarding the history and development of the project, funding sources, what the public can expect during construction, traffic control, and construction scheduling.
